Youth Center Šmartno ob Paki
The Council of the Municipality of Šmartno ob Paki established the Public Institute of the Youth Center Šmartno ob Paki in 1998 for the needs of active leisure time of young people. For its operation, an adapted building in the center of Šmartno ob Paki was adapted and suitable spaces were arranged in it, which were solemnly dedicated to its purpose in September 2004.
The complex of the Šmartno ob Paki Youth Centre consists of two facilities, namely the "House of Youth" and the "Marof" multipurpose facility. In the "House of Youth" there are spaces for spending leisure time, a meeting room and the "Gallery Dile" hall. Four rooms are intended for overnight stays. There are 22 beds in a shared bed space, an apartment for 8 persons with its own bathroom and kitchen, and a five-bed and four-bed room. In "Marof" facility there is the main hall with a large kitchen, a meeting room, and the "Attic" hall.
All facilities are also technically equipped for more demanding events. The outdoor spaces and hayrack are mainly used in warmer weather. A large event tent is also available. Concerts and events take place on the outdoor stage and asphalt surfaces, the hayrack is intended for picnics, gatherings and other social events.
