The rugged, hilly terrain that stretches across the outskirts of the municipality of Šmartno ob Paki represents an ideal world for hiking. So it is not surprising that several mountain trails pass through these places. The most striking peak of this area is Gora Oljka with the recognizable pilgrimage church of St. Cross on top. Several marked mountain trails lead to it. The oldest of them is the route from Rečica ob Paki, already marked in 1897. In addition to these, the Savinjska mountain trail, the Šaleška mountain trail and the "Along the Andraž paths" trail intersect at its summit.
