One of the outstanding trees in the municipality, which stands out compared to others in age, trunk diameter and height, is the Rakun´s pine, which stands in the forest in Veliko Vrh. It is a red pine (Pinus silvestris Mill.), which boasts an age of over 170 years, a height of 28.5 m and a diameter of 84 cm (or a circumference of 264 cm). The pine is protected as a natural value and is located on the route of the Martin Way.
