There are several public sports facilities in the municipality of Šmartno ob Paki, which are intended for the recreation of all sports fans. The main of these facilities is located near the primary school, namely:
- paved field – football, basketball, handball
- small football field with artificial grass
- volleyball court on the beach
There is also a football stadium at the base of the school, where the members of the Šmartno 1928 Football Club play home games. In addition to the main football pitch at the stadium, there are two additional football pitches in the direction of Rečica ob Paki (Log).
In the center of the town there is a beautifully landscaped public children's playground next to the event place Martin´s village.
